Center for Public Relations Research

Center for Public Relations Research of Shanghai Jiao Tong University is an academic instituation specialized in public relations set up by Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Based on the support of major project of national social science fundand across-the-country, interdisciplinary, multi-levelteam researchers, the research center focuses on the study of theory and practice of enterprise’s brand management, image promotion, crisis public relationsunder the background of new media, providing  consulting, training, and decision-making service For kinds of enterprise. Aim at the goal of building the international first-class research institutions of public relations, public relations research center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University combines the latest trend and frontier theory of the global development with the practice of enterprise in China,and integrates many subjects’ resources of journalism and communication, public management, economic management and so on. The research Achievements include evaluation analysis report on the ability of public relations of the enterprise, report on crisis public relations of enterprise,report on microblog in China, public relations and relevant area casebase and database, public relations network(http://www.21cnpr.com), public relations microblog(http://weibo.com/cnpr) ,and so on. At present, the research center has released Annual Report ON Public Opinionof Enterprise and Crisis public relations In China, Report on Microblog in China in the First Half Year of 2011, and etc.
